Excelsior's fashion week is quickly approaching, so we thought we would give you a little run down on what's happening on Water Street! It will begin on Thursday, June 16th and end with a fashion show on June 23rd (find tickets here). Excelsior's shops will also be hosting events throughout the week (check their instagram's for more information).  As part of our celebration, we will be partying Wednesday, June 22nd with pop-ups by Spring Finn & Co. and Denise Houser Design from 3-5pm. We will continue the party by having Hackwith Design House in the shop on June 23rd from 4-9pm, so you can stop by...

One morning, our mailman, Charlie, walked in to the shop and said to us, "I know someone famous.." We both quickly responded, "Who??" He then flashed us the new addition of Lake Minnetonka Magazine. To our surprise, there we were- on the cover!  We are blown away by the amazing support and words of encouragement from our wonderful customers, the Excelsior retail community, and the local media. Working with Lake Minnetonka Magazine on the store's photos was a blast. Have you checked out Water Street in Excelsior lately?? There really is a renaissance taking place. After our opening in November, several other stores have joined. Some new, some re-locations. Buck and Fir (Women's Street Wear), J. Novachis (Menswear), Epitome Papers (Stationery & Gifts), and Lake Effect (Opening April 2016) are just a few to keep your eye open for. The Twin Cities is experiencing a boom in retail. New, unique boutiques are popping up all over. This is creating a depth of shopping that we are absolutely loving!  We are a tad guilty of not checking out all the new stores lately like we would like, but these have definitely been added to our lists!
